After graduating from Loyola School of Law in 1995, I returned to Asheville, my hometown, to start my legal career. I began as an Assistant District Attorney which afforded me the immediate opportunity to gain trial experience, and learn to effectively evaluate evidence and develop trial strategy. 

During my years in the District Attorney’s Office, I often witnessed defendants not receiving the equal justice guaranteed by our Constitution. This inequity motivated me to leave the District Attorney’s Office and become a criminal defense attorney.

I am deeply motivated by fighting for justice and advocating for each client, and I would be honored to advocate for you.
